Merry Mariners Event

Merry Mariner's Cruise to the Channel Mark - October 5th, 2005

	Here we are arriving at the Channel Mark from the Parking lot. Another bad forecast had us give up the boating and choose the car. As you can see, the weather man did us wrong again. Oh well....
	It was nice to know they had plenty of room for us. We had the entire room to ourselves with a wonderful view of the bay.
	Rusty seems to have grown a full face beard. I must say it is an improvement. Whoops, just kidding.
	Elaine and Tony Dowd drew the single table my the window. The Roger's table seemed to be in good spirits.
	Bill Shallbetter was the lucky guy to sit a a table with three lovely ladies. So what are these guys looking at??
	This was the entertainment for the day. There was a couple who had obviously drank a little too much and were trying to make their way back to their boat in a dingy whose motor quit at this point. We stepped outside to hear the audio portion of the show. It was definitely X rated with both of them shouting all sorts of obscenities at each other.	We were concerned that one of them would end up in the water and the other would just paddle away; but no such luck for either of them.
	When the audio portion of the outside show was out of range, we came inside for the drawing. Gerry Schoen was the proud winner of cash to take home.
	Cash was also shared by Dennis and Denise Bastyr Betty Gray was the proud winner of a gift certificate to the Channel Mark.
